You Gave Me My Hearing

Doctors can make a huge difference in people’s lives. So many of us take for granted our health and abilities to do things that other people don’t have or that we can lose in an instant.
Here’s a nice letter received by a local doctor that helps us appreciate those in the health care field who work so hard to make a critical difference in our lives.
“You gave me something incredible on this last visit – not just pieces of plastic and bits of silicon. You gave me my hearing. You gave me one of my five senses. I wonder if you have any idea what this means.”
